Students will analyze the theological and practical implications of virtual church experiences, develop strategies for digital discipleship, and learn to deliver sermons and provide pastoral care effectively within immersive environments.

Creativity in Christian Education is a range of courses designed to motivate learners to examine and utilize nontraditional methods. It focuses on textual preaching as a homiletical paradigm and applies the Hegelian dialectic to promote textual analysis to current and future generations. This course will explore the relevance of creativity in Christian education, provide examples of teaching and experiencing Christian education, and use tools to incorporate creativity into educational experiences for people of all ages within the local congregation. This course will also employ creative and experiential strategies, along with readings, papers, and technology, to challenge students as they consider the role of innovative thinking in the teaching and learning of Christian Education.
